Century-Airport Pediatrics is currently being affected by the national health care worker shortage.

In addition, the CDC has issued an advisory regarding "the earlier than expected elevated respiratory illnesses incidence caused by multiple viruses occurring especially among children". Therefore, we are currently experiencing an excessive number of calls and requests daily.

While we will continue to try to follow our protocol as per newsletter regarding our response times, please note that response times may take now take longer.r.

Please anticipate your needs as return phone calls may take longer than usual, completion of forms may take longer than the 2 weeks stated in our newsletter and on our website. Refill requests may take longer than 5 days. Portal messages may not be addressed for at least 5 business days as they are considered non-urgent.

The Spring/Summer Newsletter has been mailed to our patients. The newsletter contains information including common winter viruses and what to do when symptoms are present, urgent Care and ER recommendations, office policies and updates. Please refer to the newsletter before calling our office.

The Newsletter along with other valuable information can be seen on our our newly updated website www.century-airportpeds.com.

The portal (Follow My Health) has recently been doing many updates to the app, which has caused other issues with patient uploads. We ask that whenever possible the portal be accessed through a web browser via laptop or PC for full functionality.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our providers and staff continue to strive to give the best care to our patients, given our staffing shortage and very busy time.
